Feedback & Complaints
We always welcome feedback about our Practice and services we provide. Patient feedback is important to us, and we appreciate any comments or suggestions you may have.
Comments and Suggestions
We are continually looking to turn our patients’ feedback into real improvements in the services we provide. We use it to focus on the things that matter most to our patients, carers and their families. If you have been happy with the care and service you have received at the surgery or at home, please let us know. Letters of Appreciation to the Practice Manager, Doctors and nursing staff are much appreciated.
Alternatively, you may write to The Practice Manager, The Verwood Surgery, 15 Station Road, Verwood, Dorset. BH31 7PY
If you have a complaint or concern about the service you have received from the doctors or any of the personnel working in this practice, please scroll down to the Complaints section on this page to find out what to do.

The Friends and Family Test
The NHS want you to have the best possible experience of care. The NHS Friends and Family Test gathers your feedback so we can continually review and improve our service to you. You do not need to give your name or contact details.
This form has been developed based on NHS national guidance to help GP Practices improve patient experience. Referred to as the Friends and Family Test (FFT), it is an important feedback tool that supports the fundamental principle that people who use NHS services should have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience. Listening to the views of patients and staff helps identify what is working well, what can be improved and how.
FFT feedback is regularly reviewed by the Practice team.
At The Verwood Surgery, we make every effort to give the best service possible to everyone who attends our practice.
However, we are aware that things can go wrong resulting in a patient feeling that they have a genuine cause for complaint. If this is so, we would wish for the matter to be settled as quickly, and as amicably, as possible.
Complaints
We very much hope that you never have the need to make a complaint, however we all know that things don’t always go to plan resulting in a patient feeling that they have a genuine cause for complaint. If this is so, we would wish for the matter to be settled as quickly, and as amicably, as possible.
To pursue a complaint please contact the Surgery by telephoning 01202 825353 and ask to speak with the Practice Manager who will deal with your concerns appropriately. If you wish to complain in writing, please address your letter to The Complaints Manager, The Verwood Surgery, 15 Station Road, Verwood, Dorset. BH31 7PY
Further written information is available regarding the complaints procedure from reception.
